Roles & Responsibilities

VIE Project Engineer


Under the responsibility of the Project Director, you will join a human-sized team and participate in the realization of the project for the construction of several water treatment infrastructures in Saudi Arabia on the Red Sea.

Your main missions will be:

  • You will support the good coordination between the various site stakeholders and the engineering and purchasing teams as well as the good follow-up of the execution of the design by the different actors of a turnkey project (civil engineering, mechanical assembly, and electrical assembly companies)
  • Coordinate and supervise the project internally with the Project Director and the Site Manager by mobilising and coordinating the necessary human and material resources.
  • You ensure that contractors work in accordance with the terms of the contract, quality standards, HSE performance and budget and schedule keeping.
  • You will participate in the smooth running from start-up to performance tests.
  • You accompany the customer until the acceptance of the installation.
  • You prepare all essential documents for the proper execution of the project (correspondence, notes, minutes) in coordination with its hierarchy, and ensure its dissemination.

Desired Candidate Profile

Graduated from an engineering school or equivalent, you have a first successful experience in construction or water treatment.

You have a real experience in EPC projects and multicultural environments.

Analytical skills, action skills, technical and budgetary rigour are essential qualities.

You are fluent in English and have very good interpersonal and writing skills.

Fluency in Arabic would be considered a plus.

You hold a driver's license and mobile.

Finally, and above all, you are curious, motivated to join us, and enthusiastic about participating in a project that is important for SUEZ.
