Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Create visually engaging displays and merchandising strategies to highlight products using color, lighting, props, signage, and graphics.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align visual merchandising with company strategies, seasonal promotions, and product launches.
- Plan and implement store layouts and signage to optimize traffic flow and enhance the shopping experience.
- Train and mentor store staff on visual merchandising techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement to ensure consistent execution.
- Stay current with retail trends and customer preferences to continuously improve merchandising strategies.
- Develop planograms and visual guidelines, ensuring staff adherence to display standards.
- Source and coordinate visual merchandising materials with vendors to maintain displays.
- Conduct store visits and audits, providing feedback to improve displays and sales performance.
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to refine merchandising strategies.
- Work with graphic design teams to create promotional materials that align with visual merchandising initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective execution of visual strategies.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, or related field.
- Proven experience in visual merchandising or store layout design in a retail environment.
- Strong understanding of visual merchandising principles, retail trends, and customer behavior.
- Creative with a keen eye for design and visual storytelling.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use sales data and customer feedback to optimize merchandising strategies.
- Proficient in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
- Familiarity with marketing and graphic design concepts is a plus.
