Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Install, configure, and manage VMware infrastructure components, including ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, vSAN, and NSX.

  • Create, deploy, and manage virtual machines, templates, and clusters with proper allocation of resources.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues, performing tuning for storage, compute, and network layers.
  • Maintain backups, snapshots, and disaster recovery configurations to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
  • Apply regular patches, updates, and version upgrades for ESXi hosts and vCenter.
  • Implement automation and scripting using PowerCLI, PowerShell, or vRealize Orchestrator
  • Collaborate with security and storage teams to ensure compliance with enterprise policies.
  • Document system configurations, changes, and standard operating procedures.

Desired Candidate Profile

3 7 years of experience in administering VMware ESXi/vSphere environments.

  • Expertise in virtualization, private cloud infrastructures, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with server Hardware, storage, networking, and Active Directory integration.
  • Proficiency in automation tools such as PowerShell, PowerCLI, or vROps.
  • Certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP), VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP), or VCIX are preferred
