Job Description & Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the fiber business to achieve sustainable growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
• Oversee planning, deployment, and efficient utilization of fiber infrastructure to maximize revenue and network performance.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive 10-year fiber business plan and strategy, continuously updating it based on market trends, business evolution, and competition.
• Conduct in-depth market analysis and competitor benchmarking to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
• Drive revenue maximization by exploring new business opportunities and ensuring optimal utilization of fiber assets.
• Define technical requirements for Fiber Optic Media (FOM) systems and oversee delivery of IT projects, upgrades, and change requests.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align CAPEX/OPEX budgets, investment plans, and annual forecasts with strategic fiber objectives.
• Develop long-term demand forecasts (3 5 years) and integrate them with annual planning and investment strategies.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, track financial KPIs, and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Manage build vs. lease decisions based on cost-benefit analysis, long-term demand, and strategic priorities.
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date infrastructure databases and coverage maps for own and competitor networks.
• Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement contingency plans to ensure business continuity.
• Oversee deployment, maintenance, and lifecycle management of fiber assets to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Track and manage infrastructure utilization rate to optimize network efficiency and capacity usage.
• Monitor revenue growth and profitability metrics to maintain financial health and sustainable business outcomes.
• Track project completion rates, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of fiber network initiatives.
• Collect customer feedback and monitor customer satisfaction to maintain high-quality service delivery.
• Develop and maintain financial and operational KPIs for consistent performance measurement.
• Prepare senior management and board-level reports on fiber business performance, infrastructure utilization, and financial outcomes.
• Coordinate with Fiber Demand Management teams to ensure consistency between annual budgets, investment plans, and long-term strategy.
• Support strategic decisions on fiber network expansion, including build vs. lease and investment planning.
• Ensure efficient utilization of fiber assets to drive revenue maximization and cost optimization.
• Lead initiatives to improve operational processes, performance monitoring, and infrastructure management.
• Provide guidance on technical, operational, and financial aspects of the fiber business to ensure strategic alignment.
• Implement proactive measures to address risks, network issues, or operational bottlenecks.
• Oversee CAPEX and OPEX planning and execution to ensure effective budget management.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic business adjustments.
• Drive alignment between fiber network strategy, operational plans, and long-term business goals.
• Ensure regulatory and compliance standards are met in all aspects of fiber operations.
• Support organizational decision-making by providing accurate, timely, and actionable insights on fiber business performance.
• Continuously identify opportunities to optimize network resources, improve customer experience, and enhance profitability.
