Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and drive the execution of the CASA Transformation roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
- Define and prioritize the product backlog, balancing strategic initiatives with technical feasibility and squad capacity.
- Translate the product vision into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria within the agile framework.
- UX&UI-led Journey and Customer Experience: Deep involvement with UX/UI and platform architecture teams to ensure state-of-the-art and fit-for-purpose digital and staff facing journeys are delivered and optimized.
- Channel Optimization: Steer the optimization of acquisition channels and the development of new or enhanced products, features, digital capabilities, and journey designs.
- Aim to grow the CASA business and enhance customer experience and conversion rates.
- Monitor product performance using KPIs, analytics, and customer feedback to inform backlog refinement and future iterations.
Agile Leadership
- Lead a cross-functional agile squad including developers, designers, analysts, and testers.
- Act as the squad s single point of accountability for product decisions, sprint planning, and backlog grooming.
- Ensure timely delivery of product increments while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
- Quarterly Planning and Execution: Formulate robust journeys and strategies to drive growth in CASA Business. Steer the development and implementation of these strategies to increase market share and revenue.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Communicate product progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
- Championing the voice of the customer through data-driven insights and feedback loops.
- Risk and Compliance Management: Collaborate with Risk Management and Compliance ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory requirements along with sound risk management practices to be maintained and monitored.
Innovation & Market Awareness
- Stay ahead of digital trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
- Identify opportunities to enhance client engagement, personalization, and advisory capabilities through digital channels.
- Market Insight-led Business Evolution: Foster strong internal and external networks. Identify emerging economic and consumer trends to inform constant evolution of platform and customer journey enhancements.
- Identify and scope enhancements that improve client engagement, personalization, through digital channels.
- Promote scalable, forward-thinking solutions that align with long-term business and technology goals.
Deliver sustainable financial performance
- Improve origination volumes, approval rates, and time-to-investment through product and journey enhancements.
- Reduce cost-to-acquire and servicing cost through increased automation and straight-through-processing (STP).
- Track and optimize lending KPIs including drop-off rates, delinquency trends, and net portfolio growth.
- Enable upsell and cross-sell opportunities within journeys (e.g., insurance, top-ups, salary transfer tie-ins).
- Support P&L targets of investment products by accelerating go-to-market of new propositions or features and integrating cross-selling opportunities in the digital experience.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum Qualification: Bachelor s degree in one of the following disciplines:
- Finance, Economics, or Business Administration Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems Preferred:
- Master s degree (MBA, MSc in Finance, or Digital Innovation) Certifications (desirable).
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager.
- Agile, Lean, or Design Thinking credentials.
- Minimum Experience: 10+ years of experience in product management, digital transformation, or agile delivery roles, with at least:
- 5+ years in a senior product owner or leadership role within an agile organization Experience with:
- Digital Product Management Banking and/or established Fintech.
- Digital Banking platforms.
- Regulatory and compliance considerations in BFSA context.
- Scalable digital delivery
