Towell Drilling and Oilfield Services Company (TDOS) is a part of the larger parent group, W.J. Towell & Company L.L.C, which was founded in 1866. The company’s drilling and oilfield services division was started in the year 2008 when the company undertook its first drilling rig services contract in India. Since then, they have worked with some of the major names including PDO, offering them top hole drilling services. Over the years, TDOS has also expanded its operations to MENA region, Africa and South East Asia. They are in a major contract with Reliance Industries Ltd. (RIL) in India for providing Air Drilling Rig services. The company maintains an impeccable safety record for its operations in both, India and Oman. This commitment towards safety has earned them the title of being one of the safest rigs in Oman. They have also won many accolades and goal zero trophies from PDO.
The company employs ultramodern hydraulic top drive drilling rigs which makes it possible to drill using air/foam and conventional mud tailor made for Top Hole drilling. TDOS is proud of its highly mobile rigs that come with the ability of drilling holes of up to 26 inches of diameter and installing 13 3/8" casing of depth measuring up to 900m. TDOS is equally proud of its multi-skilled and highly experienced workforce responsible for Top hole and CBM drilling as well as its supporting management team of highly qualified professionals who are responsible for running the drilling projects in Oman and India.
