Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.

  2. Take customer orders accurately and provide menu recommendations, especially seafood specialties.

  3. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring excellent customer service.

  4. Handle billing, invoicing, and cash/card payments using POS systems.

  5. Ensure proper cash handling, daily cash closing, and reconciliation.

  6. Supervise daily front-of-house operations and ensure smooth service flow.

  7. Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely order preparation and delivery.

  8. Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.

  9. Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, cashier counter, and service stations.

  10. Train and guide junior staff (waiters/assistants) when required.

  11. Monitor stock levels of service items (cutlery, napkins, packaging, etc.).

  12. Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and company standards.

  13. Assist in opening and closing procedures of the restaurant.

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Proven experience in a similar role (waiter/cashier/supervisor), preferably in the UAE or GCC.

  2. Good knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures.

  3. Strong customer service and communication skills.

  4. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  5. Leadership ability with a hands-on approach to supervising staff.

  6. Basic knowledge of seafood menu items is an advantage.

  7. Presentable, polite, and customer-focused personality.

  8. Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

  9. Basic English communication is required; Arabic or other languages is a plus.

  10. Ability to handle pressure and resolve customer issues effectively.
