Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and supervise all NDT activities during the shutdown (RT, UT, MT, PT, VT)
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards such as American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT), American Society of Mechanical Engineers, and American Petroleum Institute
  • Plan daily inspection schedules and allocate NDT technicians effectively
  • Review and approve NDT reports and ensure proper documentation
  • Coordinate with QA/QC, client inspectors, and third-party agencies
  • Ensure proper calibration and availability of NDT equipment
  • Monitor safety compliance during radiography and other critical inspections
  • Maintain records of weld inspections, repairs, and final acceptance
  • Provide technical guidance to NDT technicians (Level I & II)

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 8 years of experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical shutdown projects
  • Valid NDT certification (ASNT Level II or Level III preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of RT, UT, MT, PT methods
  • Familiarity with shutdown execution and documentation
  • Good communication and coordination skills
  • Prior experience in Saudi Aramco / SABIC / major petrochemical projects preferred
