A Warehouse Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of a warehouse. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks related to inventory management, order fulfillment, and maintaining an organized warehouse environment. Your primary duties will include receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and managing inventory levels. You will also ensure that the warehouse is clean, safe, and well-organized. This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to follow procedures and safety guidelines. Responsibilities

• Receive and process incoming stock and materials from suppliers and vendors.
• Pick and fill orders from stock as per client and shipping instructions.
• Pack, label, and ship orders in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory and report discrepancies as they occur.
• Organize and maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse environment.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, to place or remove stock items.
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and log findings in the system.
• Inspect all incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and quality control.
• Communicate with team members and managers about stock levels and order progress.
• Adhere to all safety and health regulations while performing warehouse duties.
• Assist in cycle counts and other inventory audits for accuracy and accountability.
• Collaborate with shipping and receiving teams to optimize workflow efficiency.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education is required for this position.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred by employers.
• Ability to operate forklift and warehouse vehicles, with certification desired.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are necessary for daily tasks.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods is required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, exhibiting flexibility.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting are highly beneficial.
