Warehouse Foreman

Amentum

DUTIES:

• Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring that safety is the highest priority in the workplace.

• Comply with all Environmental Health & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements and goals. Provide information and materials to these divisions as necessary to ensure adequate and legal documentation.

• Establish goals and performance metrics to assess the performance of the team.

• Provide daily work assignments and supervises a team of warehousemen and supply clerks in support of the project.

• Oversee daily activities in the warehouse, including receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping goods to ensure an efficient operation

• Provide solution-based feedback when necessary to facilitate the processing of the customer s requests.

• Monitor inventory levels, conduct physical counts, and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate stock records.

• Schedule and assign tasks to warehouse staff based on workload and priorities, ensuring efficient resource allocation.

• Implement operational procedures to improve efficiency and productivity within the warehouse.

• Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to warehouse operations, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Prepare and submit performance reports to management, highlighting areas for improvement and operational success.

• Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse or remote storage areas.

• Efficiently load and unload materials from trucks, ensuring that loads are balanced and secure before moving.

• Perform routine checks and maintenance on forklifts and other warehouse equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.

• Perform additional duties and projects assigned.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safety - Amentum enforces a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe work environment. As appropriate, each employee is responsible for completing all training requirements and fulfilling all self-aid/buddy aid responsibilities, participating in emergency response tasks, and serving on safety committees and teams.

• Procedure Compliance - Each employee must read, understand, and implement the general and specific operational, safety, quality and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures and policies pertaining to job.
