Roles & Responsibilities

Plan and review demand and supply forecast data and coordinate discussions with Supply Chain pears, sales and production teams on fulfillment of forecast quantity.

Lead the monitoring of maintenance of all warehouse facilities by liaising with maintenance leaders to assure predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance is performed to assure optimal availability and reliability of all warehouse facilities.

Manage and oversees the overall warehouse operations and maintenance, including receiving finished products from the production function (inventory control) storing and preserving Silo, raw materials, finished products, and spare parts (space utilization).

Leads and oversees the operations of the raw materials, finished products, Packing Materials and Inventory to ensure minimal variance between inventory records and physical stock.

Lead the formulation, implementation and updating of Warehousing -related policies, processes and procedures.

Manage budget preparation (CAPEX and OPEX) for warehouse operations and monitor financial performance while ensuring the overall financial processes and activities are aligned with the approved guidelines.

Lead and promote the standardization of warehousing operational processes across all assets to assure optimal productivity and cost reduction.

Manage the implementation of safety stock levels for all items/categories in accordance with the demand planning schedule.

Ensure implementation of measures for improving efficiency and operational excellence in Warehousing, displacing, and delivery.

Directing investigations to verify and resolve internal customer complaints related to inventory, availability and delivery.

Review and delivery comprehensive, regular management reports indicating warehouse business performance including key performance indicators and productivity.

Assure that the warehouse processes unloading, storage product preservation, product quality, and dispatch standards and SOPs are properly updated and implemented to assure all items/categories are properly handled to contribute to OFM productivity.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s Degree in Engineering with a focus on -Supply Chain Management, Industrial engineering or System Engineering

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in warehouse operations, with deep exposure to high-volume, industrial environments.
  • 5+ years in a warehouse supervisory or leadership role, overseeing teams, processes, safety, and daily operational continuity.
  • Strong background in Feeding/Flour operations, including planning, scheduling, and coordination of material flows within mill environments.
  • Proven experience in managing raw materials, finished goods, and spare parts, ensuring accurate storage, traceability, stock integrity, and timely availability.
  • Solid capability in risk and hazard management across unloading operations, transportation activities, warehouse handling, and dispatch processes, ensuring compliance with HSSE standards.
  • Hands-on experience in complex mill operations, including industrial infrastructure management, project execution, commissioning, and facilities maintenance, supporting long-term operational reliability and efficiency.

Strong understanding of the interrelation between manufacturing services, distribution, sales, and technical functions, and how each impacts warehouse performance and product flow.

Demonstrated expertise in warehouse safety, with full ownership of environmental, health, and safety requirements, including emergency response planning and adherence to HSSE protocols.

Solid technical knowledge of the food manufacturing industry, including operational dependencies, product handling standards, and quality requirements.

In-depth knowledge of ISO standards and policies, with the ability to implement and audit warehouse processes in line with international best practices.

Proven understanding of warehouse management best practices, covering receiving, storage, preservation, inventory control, and dispatch operations.

Strong command of HSE disciplines, including Confined Space safety, Process Safety, HAZOP principles, risk and hazard identification, mitigation planning, and emergency response procedures.

Competence in estimating, budgeting, and cost control, ensuring warehouse operations align with financial targets and capital/operational spending guidelines.

Knowledge of transport, logistics, and warehouse management systems, including planning tools, routing processes, ERP/warehouse modules, and operational reporting systems.
