Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards.
  • Implement inventory control systems to minimize stock discrepancies and optimize storage space.
  • Lead a team of warehouse staff, providing training and guidance to enhance productivity and morale.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery and accurate documentation.
  • Utilize warehouse management software to track inventory levels and generate performance reports.
  • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures for warehouse processes and safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular audits of inventory and equipment to maintain operational integrity.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and sales, to align inventory with business needs.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for logistics and equipment services.
  • Prepare and manage the budget for warehouse operations, identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
  • Proven track record of implementing efficient warehouse processes and systems.
  • Certification in supply chain management or logistics (e.g., APICS, Six Sigma) is a plus.
  • Experience with warehouse management software (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills in high-pressure situations.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items and operate warehouse equipment.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus, especially Spanish or Mandarin.
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
