Plan, coordinate and monitor the receipt, order, assembly and dispatch of goods.

Use space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently, making sure quality, budgetary targets and environmental objectives are met according to ISO international standards.

Have a clear understanding of the company's policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these.

Coordinate the use of automated and computerized systems where necessary.

Keep stock control systems up to date and make sure inventories are accurate.

Plan future capacity requirements according to the policy of the company.

Organize the recruitment and training of staff, as well as monitoring staff performance and progress.

Motivate, organize and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded.

Produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment, for example, ensuring that stock such as chemicals and food are stored safely.

Oversee the maintenance and operation of warehouse management systems and automated storage and retrieval systems.

Must be able to deal with general management and strategic planning, he must be also able to involve himself in practical work on the warehouse floor.

Monitor premises to reduce losses caused by theft or fraud.

Identifies areas that are vulnerable to theft.

Recommend solutions to increase safety and reduce risk.

Frequently audits the stores and report anomalies.

Inspects facilities to ensure compliance to safety and security measures.

Enforces security measures and procedure.

Reviews stock take results and penalizes anomalies.

Spot checks the cash drawers in every visit.

Monitor public areas for potential threats especially changing rooms.

Identifies potential thieves or vandals among staff or patrons.

Monitors stock movement and discrepancies through stock takes and cycles counts.

Monitors staff attendance and adherence to weekly rosters.

Follows and confronts shoplifters, works with law enforcement to arrest and prosecute shoplifters and dishonest employees and testifies during legal or legislative proceedings.

Helps company in developing security procedures through SOP.

Responsible for safeguarding and maintaining a good working order of CCTVs.

Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services.

Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle.

Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers.

Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.

Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes and process shipments.

Resolve any arising problems or complaints.

Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce.

Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets.

Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
