Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations & Inventory Control
Manage inbound (receiving) and outbound (dispatch/transfer) of goods across branches.
Ensure all received shipments are checked carefully (quantities, quality, damages) and recorded correctly in the system.
Maintain accurate inventory records through regular counts, cycle audits, and reconciliation.
Implement and enforce standard warehouse procedures (SOPs) for storage, picking, dispatch, returns, and shrinkage prevention.
Team Leadership & Supervision
Lead, supervise, and coordinate the stock team (warehouse staff, store-keepers, stock clerks).
Assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and ensure staff adhere to company standards (discipline, safety, accuracy, professionalism).
Provide training on best practices (handling garments, modest-wear items, correct storage, system usage) and reinforce a culture of accountability and care.
Warehouse Layout, Safety & Quality
Organize warehouse layout to ensure efficient storage, easy picking, safe handling of clothing and accessories.
Enforce health, safety, and security protocols. Maintain cleanliness, prevent damage, and secure inventory.
Manage handling of returns, damaged goods, and coordinate with finance/management for write-offs if needed.
Coordination with Branches & Other Departments
Work closely with branch managers / store teams to coordinate stock transfers, replenishments, and returns.
Coordinate with sourcing/purchasing (if any) to plan incoming shipments, avoid overstock or stockouts.
Provide timely reports on stock levels, shortages, excess inventory, and discrepancies.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
Generate regular reports (daily/weekly/monthly) on stock status, shrinkage, dispatches, returns, and team performance.
Identify inefficiencies and propose improvements to warehouse operations e.g. layout changes, better storage practices, improved flow, waste or loss reduction.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal policies.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree (Business, Logistics, Supply-chain, or similar preferred).
Proven experience (ideally 3 5 years) in warehouse management or stock/inventory management preferably in retail/fashion.
Strong operational, organizational, and leadership skills.
Proficiency with inventory/warehouse management systems or comfort learning new ERP/POS tools.
High attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to accuracy.
Understanding of proper storage techniques and stock-handling best practices.
