Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of landscape materials and products.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock audits, and implement effective inventory control procedures.
- Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and project teams to ensure timely delivery and availability of materials for ongoing projects.
- Develop and enforce warehouse policies and procedures to maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Monitor and optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.
- Implement and maintain warehouse management systems (WMS) to streamline operations and reporting.
- Oversee the maintenance and safe operation of warehouse equipment and vehicles.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, address bottlenecks, and recommend process improvements.
- Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse performance, inventory status, and key operational metrics to senior management.
- Conduct regular field visits to all warehouse locations to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
Desired Candidate Profile
5-7 years of proven experience in warehouse management or a similar logistics role.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Solid knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to warehouse operations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to analyze data, generate reports, and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience in optimizing warehouse layout and processes for efficiency.
