Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to optimize workflow and maintain safety standards.
- Manage and lead a team of warehouse staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock audits, and coordinate with procurement to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the warehouse.
- Coordinate with other departments, including logistics, procurement, and operations, to ensure seamless supply chain processes.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory, shipments, and order fulfillment.
- Analyze data and prepare reports on warehouse productivity, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction within warehouse operations.
- Handle the resolution of discrepancies, damaged goods, and other warehouse-related issues promptly and effectively.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 5 years experience in warehouse management or a related field.
- Proven experience in leading and managing warehouse teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics processes.
- Demonstrated ability to implement and improve warehouse policies and procedures.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work on-site and adapt to changing operational demands.
- Experience in the hospitality or tourism sector is an advantage.
