Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
  • Manage and lead warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control systems to minimize loss and optimize stock levels.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations within the warehouse environment.
  • Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and sales teams to align warehouse activities with business objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement in warehouse processes.
  • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse functions.
  • Manage warehouse budgets, including labor, equipment, and supply costs.
  • Oversee the maintenance and proper functioning of warehouse equipment and facilities.
  • Resolve operational issues promptly to maintain smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising staff.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Solid understanding of inventory control, logistics, and supply chain processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
