Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to optimize workflow and inventory management.
- Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and coordinate with procurement and production teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the warehouse.
- Manage logistics, including inbound and outbound shipments, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
- Analyze warehouse performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management.
- Coordinate with other departments to support product launches, seasonal campaigns, and special projects.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions within warehouse operations.
- Resolve operational issues and address discrepancies in inventory or shipments promptly.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of leading and developing warehouse teams.
- Strong understanding of inventory control, warehouse management systems, and logistics best practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team leadership.
- Ability to work on-site and adapt to changing operational needs.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations in warehouse settings.
- Experience with product-based companies or the furniture industry is a plus.
