Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Oversee all daily warehouse activities, including inbound, outbound, inventory control, and returns management

  • Ensure operations meet client SLAs and performance KPIs (accuracy, on-time delivery, fill rate, etc.)
  • Plan and allocate resources effectively based on workload forecasts and client priorities
  • Coordinate closely with the transportation and customer service teams for seamless end-to-end logistics
  • Develop and enforce operational procedures and standard work instructions to maintain consistency and quality

Act as the primary operational contact for assigned clients, ensuring clear communication and strong business relationships

  • Participate in client reviews, audits, and performance meetings
  • Respond to client inquiries and resolve operational issues promptly and professionally
  • Identify opportunities for service improvements and cost optimization within the client account

Lead, train, and motivate warehouse supervisors, team leaders, and staff to achieve operational goals

  • Set clear performance objectives and ensure accountability across all shifts
  • Foster a positive, safe, and performance-driven culture within the warehouse team

Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting, reconciliation, and proper WMS usage

  • Ensure all inbound/outbound transactions are processed accurately in the system
  • Support system implementation and upgrades to improve operational control and reporting

Ensure compliance with HSE standards, warehouse safety protocols, and client-specific requirements.

  • Conduct regular audits, safety drills, and inspections
  • Maintain proper documentation and reporting for internal and external audits

Monitor daily performance and prepare weekly/monthly operational reports and KPI dashboards

  • Analyze trends to identify inefficiencies and implement corrective or preventive measures
  • Drive continuous improvement projects focused on cost reduction, efficiency, and service enhancement

Desired Candidate Profile

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of strong>5 8 years/strong> of experience in warehouse or logistics operations within a strong>3PL environment/strong>, including strong>3 years in a managerial role/strong>
  • Proven ability to manage multiple clients and contracts simultaneously
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Hands-on experience with strong>Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)/strong> and reporting tools
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement methodologies is an advantage
