Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all aspects of warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, and dispatch.
- Develop and implement warehouse policies, procedures, and best practices to improve operational efficiency and accuracy.
- Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse staff to ensure high performance and compliance with company standards.
- Coordinate with procurement, project management, and logistics teams to align warehouse activities with project demands.
- Oversee inventory management processes, including regular cycle counts and reconciliation to maintain accurate records.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the warehouse.
- Manage warehouse budgeting, resource allocation, and vendor relationships.
- Utilize ERP systems (preferably Oracle) and Microsoft Office tools for reporting, demand forecasting, and data analysis.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse productivity and reduce costs.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 13 years of experience in warehouse management, with at least 5 years in a managerial position.
- Proven experience within the real estate or construction sectors is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures, inventory control, and logistics management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly Oracle, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team to achieve targets effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance requirements in warehouse environments.
