Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards.
  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage and lead warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to minimize loss and optimize stock levels.
  • Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and production teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
  • Monitor and maintain warehouse equipment, ensuring all tools and machinery are in safe working condition.
  • Prepare and analyze reports on inventory, shipments, and warehouse productivity.
  • Enforce compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Resolve issues related to shipments, inventory discrepancies, or staff performance in a timely and effective manner.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 5 years and maximum of 7 years of experience in warehouse supervision or a related field.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate warehouse teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse management systems and inventory control procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work on-site and adapt to changing operational demands.
  • Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations in warehouse settings.
  • Experience in coordinating with cross-functional teams such as logistics and procurement.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office and warehouse management software.
