Job Summary

The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensure efficient material handling, inventory accuracy, and on-time dispatch. The role requires strong communication skills in English and Hindi, the ability to coordinate and negotiate timelines with vendors and clients, and a proactive approach to responding to operational queries.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

• Supervise day-to-day warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, warehouse SOPs, and company policies.
• Monitor inventory levels and conduct periodic stock counts to maintain accuracy.
• Optimize warehouse layout, manpower planning, and workflow for maximum efficiency.
• Coordinate with logistics teams for timely movement of goods.

Vendor & Client Coordination

• Act as a primary point of contact for vendors and clients regarding shipments, delays, and operational issues.
• Negotiate timelines for material delivery, order preparation, and dispatch based on operational capacity.
• Respond immediately and professionally to vendor and client queries, ensuring clear and timely communication.
• Resolve escalations, discrepancies, and complaints effectively.

Team Leadership

• Supervise warehouse staff, assign daily tasks, and ensure performance targets are met.
• Train and develop team members on warehouse processes and safety procedures.
• Monitor attendance, discipline, and adherence to operational standards.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of inbound/outbound shipments, inventory movement, and daily activity reports.
• Ensure proper documentation for audits, compliance checks, and quality control.
• Use WMS/ERP systems to track orders, inventory, and operational KPIs.
