Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
DUTIES:
- Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring that safety is the highest priority in the workplace.
- Comply with all Environmental Health & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements and goals.
- Keep the warehouse areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe work environment.
- Perform escort of trucks with shipment of orders being delivered by Suppliers.
- Ensure detailed pictures are taken of inbound shipments to clearly document the condition of each pallet.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks as needed.
- Promptly breakdown, organize, and inspect offloaded shipments to ensure they match the orders and are in good condition.
- Ensure all safety data sheets are collected, retained, and affixed as necessary.
- Properly pack, label and relocate accepted orders to the designated area within the warehouse.
- Sort, label, and store items in designated locations.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for issue and/or shipment.
- Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on equipment and comply with all safety rules & procedures to include personnel protective equipment (PPE).
- Report all maintenance or safety concerns to the Supervisor promptly.
- Perform additional duties and projects as qualified to perform as assigned.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum Acceptable Experience Level:
- Two (2) years progressive experience, in a high volume, multi-unit receiving/inventory or supply management environment.
- Experience with supply chain management (SCM) systems particularly in relation to accurate inventory management.
- Experience and knowledge of materials-accountability, loss prevention and logistical scheduling.
- Experience working independently with various functions and disciplines of supply chain and operations.
- Experience with analysis and research using the MS Office Suite of programs.
- Handling of U.S. Government property procedures.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of the FAR and industry leading practices regarding government property. Ability to clearly and concisely articulate services/requirements in writing.
- Ability to articulate in a clear and concise manner with Management and Trades Departments daily.
- Ability to demonstrate analytical and research skills.
- Ability to perform the technical requirements efficiently and effectively.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, and propose solutions.
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow all Amentum/Logistic Management procedures, policies, and guidelines.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize effectively and work with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to lift materials and equipment weighing up to 50lbs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules.
- Knowledge of principles and processes involved in supporting contract responsibilities at an overseas facility.
- Cross-cultural sensitivity with an international perspective.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to become an active and functioning member of a team.
- Ability to be innovative and be an agent for change.
- Expert communication skills to facilitate and disseminate information.
Education: A high school diploma or GED.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Valid drivers license from Home of Record.
Passport, Licenses and Certifications:
- As part of pre-contingency requirements, by the time the visa process starts , candidates must possess a valid passport with a minimum of 18 months remaining until the expiration date with 8 blank pages. Valid drivers license
Security Vetting:
- Already possess a Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) or be able to obtain a favorable MRPT certification prior to being hired is required for the position. Must maintain eligibility at the required certification or clearance level for the duration of the contract.
Language Skills:
- Satisfactory English proficiency to meet job requirements and to adhere and comply with safety, health, and security measures.
Medical:
- Successfully complete and pass the medical and dental examinations as required by Amentum and our customer for deployment to Iraq. Must maintain physical and dental requirements for duration of deployment.
DESIRED:
- One (1) year experience with Material Handling Equipment Relevant certifications and training on this equipment.
- Knowledge of proper loading techniques and forklift weight capacities.
- Previous outside-of-home-country experience is highly desirable and previous work experience in harsh environmental conditions is a plus.

Amentum
The Warehouseman will be based at one of three Amentum sites in Iraq and serve the Operations and Maintenance Support Services (OMSS) contract in support of the U.S. Department of State. This position will be responsible for loading and unloading cargo, performing receiving activities, stocking and pulling orders for customers. This position will report to the Senior Material Control Specialist. The duties and responsibilities listed below are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.
