Job Description:

The Wargaming Expert will design, develop, and facilitate wargames, tabletop exercises (TTXs), and advanced simulations.

They are responsible for creating realistic scenarios that test strategies, assess risks, and improve decision-making under uncertainty for military or high-level corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, planning, and execution of wargames (matrix, tabletop, computer-assisted) aligned with client objectives.
• Act as a facilitator or "white cell" member during gaming events, guiding participants through complex scenarios.
• Develop detailed, realistic scenarios, including threat modeling, adversary capabilities, and multi-domain operations (air, land, sea, space, cyber).
• Analyze wargame outcomes, develop After Action Reports (AARs), and provide insights to senior leadership regarding strategy, logistics, and operational risks.
• Provide subject matter expertise on military strategy, doctrine, and emerging trends to enhance game validity.
• Utilize computer-based wargaming software and virtual simulations.

Skills:

• Deep knowledge of military tactics, strategy, and joint warfighting.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and facilitation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including public speaking/facilitation.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance (often required for DoD roles).
