Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee waste management operations, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and company policies for sustainable waste disposal.
- Conduct regular inspections of waste storage and disposal sites, identifying and addressing potential hazards or non-compliance issues promptly.
- Develop and implement waste reduction and recycling programs, aiming to minimize environmental impact and maximize resource recovery.
- Manage waste disposal contracts, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring service providers meet performance standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field to establish a strong academic foundation.
- Holds relevant certifications, such as Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) or similar, demonstrating specialized knowledge.
- Exhibits 5+ years of progressive experience in waste management or environmental roles, showcasing practical expertise.
- Demonstrates a deep understanding of relevant environmental regulations (e.g., RCRA, CERCLA), ensuring compliance.
