Wastewater Lift Stations Controls Operator V2X

Responsibilities:

Major Job Activities:

• Inspect, maintain, and repair pumps, motors, valves, and electrical control panels.
• Troubleshoot and repair SCADA systems, PLCs, and telemetry equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on lift station equipment.
• Conduct daily inspections of lift stations to verify operational status
• Implement emergency procedures during equipment failures.
• Perform general maintenance on station buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Safely operate and maintain electrical and mechanical systems.
• Maintain logs and submit reports on station performance and maintenance.
• Document system changes and maintains accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and regulations.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

• Operate and maintain various motors, pumps, check valves, generators, grinders, and all associated parts throughout the service area.
• Ensure proper function of motor control centers, programmable logic controllers, and variable frequency drives throughout the service area.
• Work emergency situations as required.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical diagrams Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing complex system issues.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with teams and documenting work.
