YOUR MISSION
To support our growth in Africa and the Middle East, we are looking for a:
Sanitation & Drinking Water Expert - M/F
Location: As part of this position, you will join the Moroccan subsidiary of Suez Consulting, C3E, based in Casablanca.
Scope of intervention: You will be required to conduct studies in Morocco and internationally, particularly in Africa and the Middle East.
Internationally, most projects are carried out in conjunction with international donors (AFD, WB, ADB, AfDB, EU, EIB), for whom our teams provide engineering services for essential services: drinking water, sanitation (stormwater and wastewater), and waste management in developing and emerging countries. YOUR
MISSIONS:
• Manage, conduct, and validate hydraulic studies (master plans, feasibility studies, diagnostics, preliminary and detailed studies, preparation of tender documents, analysis and evaluation of bids, etc.).
• Design and size structural infrastructure (drinking water supply and distribution networks, combined sewer/stormwater/wastewater networks, pumping and lift stations, reservoirs, etc.).
• Carry out and/or supervise advanced hydraulic modeling of drinking water and wastewater networks.
• Define optimal technical choices, incorporating resilient, sustainable, and economically viable solutions.
• Ensure adherence to project budgets and deadlines.
• Participate in the coordination and contractual management of partners (co-contractors, subcontractors, project owners, funders, or beneficiaries) to ensure the successful completion of projects and client satisfaction.
• Carry out short-term missions in Africa and the Middle East.
• Ensure critical review and technical validation of deliverables produced by the teams.
• Guarantee compliance with national and international norms, regulations, and standards.
• Provide technical support to project managers and engineers. •
Assist project owners in technical decision-making.
• Participate in strategic meetings and technical project monitoring committees.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal methods and tools.
• Ensure knowledge transfer and the development of technical skills within the teams.
• Conduct technological and regulatory monitoring in the water sector.
YOUR PROFILE
•
Hold a Master's degree (BAC+5) in Engineering (engineering school specializing in hydraulic engineering, rural engineering, civil engineering, or equivalent).
• Minimum 15 years of experience in drinking water and/or sanitation studies. Expertise in both areas is an asset.
• Strong skills in network hydraulics, pumping stations, storage facilities, etc.
• Proficiency in hydraulic calculation and modeling software for drinking water and sanitation, including transient regimes.
• You have excellent interpersonal and listening skills.
• You are autonomous, organized, and a strong team player.
• You are rigorous, responsive, and possess strong action-oriented skills.
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
