Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities

  • Perform membrane waterproofing using torch-applied (bituminous) systems.
  • Execute combo waterproofing systems (membrane + liquid coating) with proper application sequence.
  • Carry out waterproofing works for porta cabins using suitable techniques.
  • Apply liquid waterproofing systems such as polyurethane, acrylic, and cementitious coatings in wet areas.
  • Perform roof waterproofing works (flat and sloped roofs).
  • Ensure proper surface preparation including cleaning, leveling, priming, and crack repair.
  • Handle mixing and application of waterproofing materials as per manufacturer specifications.
  • Ensure correct overlapping, joint treatment, and detailing in membrane applications.
  • Conduct basic inspection and leak testing after application.
  • Follow method statements, technical data sheets (TDS), and site instructions.

  • Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience in waterproofing works.
  • Strong knowledge of torch-applied membrane systems.
  • Experience in combo systems and correct application sequence.
  • Familiarity with porta cabin, roof, and wet area waterproofing.
  • Knowledge of liquid waterproofing systems.
  • Ability to handle all types of waterproofing materials.
  • Oil & Gas project experience is an added advantage.
