Roles & Responsibilities

We re looking for a highly creative and technically proficient Web Design & UI/UX Designer to join our growing digital team. In this role, you ll work on visually engaging, user-centric websites, balancing design aesthetics with functional code. From wireframes to final front-end execution, you ll help design and develop websites across different CMS platforms (e.g. Shopify), while also supporting graphic design needs when required. You ll collaborate with designers, developers, and marketers to bring ideas to life and make an immediate impact on real client projects.

This position is perfect for someone who loves blending design with code, has an eye for detail, and wants to sharpen their front-end development and UI/UX skills in a fast-paced agency environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Design visually compelling website layouts, mockups, and UI components with usability and accessibility in mind.
  • Develop responsive web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Support CMS website development, e.g. Shopify, including theme customization, layout adjustments, and minor Liquid edits.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain consistency in branding and user experience across digital assets.
  • Contribute to creative graphic design tasks as needed across channels.
  • Help implement website updates, test UI performance, and suggest improvements based on user behaviour and feedback.

Desired Candidate Profile

You may be a good fit if you:

  • Have a bachelor s degree in web design, computer science, or a related creative/technical field.
  • Have knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (Shopify Liquid experience is a bonus).
  • Have experience working with Shopify, including theme customization and front-end adjustments.
  • Are confident using design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Understand principles of UI/UX design, responsive layout, and web accessibility.
  • Are excited about creating high-quality, user-focused digital experiences.
  • Are organized, proactive, and able to handle feedback constructively.
