Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Role Overview
The Magento Web Designer will be responsible for the ongoing management, optimization, and visual improvement of the company s Magento (Adobe Commerce) website. This is a hands-on role focused on continuous updates, UX/UI enhancements, and maintaining a high-performing e-commerce experience that supports conversion and usability.
Key Responsibilities
Website Management & Updates
Manage and update the Magento website on a daily basis
Upload and maintain product listings, descriptions, and visual content
Ensure site content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with business needs
UX/UI & Design Improvements
Improve website layout, navigation flow, and overall user experience
Optimize product pages and landing pages to increase conversion rates
Identify and implement design enhancements that improve usability and performance
Design Execution
Create and edit visual assets such as banners and product visuals
Maintain consistency by working within existing brand guidelines
Collaborate with internal teams to execute design ideas
Collaboration with Development Team
Work alongside developers on technical implementations
Execute light front-end changes independently when possible
Leverage tools, including AI-assisted tools, to improve efficiency
Performance & Optimization
Identify opportunities to improve site performance and user journey
Support ongoing conversion rate optimization (CRO) initiatives
Qualifications
Experience
2 5+ years of experience working with Magento (Adobe Commerce)
Experience managing and updating e-commerce websites on an ongoing basis
Experience in UX/UI design for e-commerce
Skills
Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices
Proficiency in design tools such as Photoshop, Figma, or similar
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS (nice to have)
Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude or similar (nice to have)
Strong attention to detail with a focus on design and usability
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to iterate quickly
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
