Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust APIs using WebMethods, ensuring seamless integration across diverse systems.
- Implement and maintain API security measures, including authentication, authorization, and encryption protocols, to protect sensitive data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define API specifications, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues, providing timely and effective solutions to minimize disruptions.
Desired Candidate Profile
Design, develop, and maintain APIs and integration solutions using IBM webMethods suite (API Gateway, Integration Server, Universal Messaging, etc.).
Build REST and SOAP APIs, API policies, security layers, and versioning strategies.
Develop custom services and flows using webMethods Designer (Flow and Java services).
Configure and manage the webMethods API Gateway, including security, throttling, logging, and analytics.
Implement data transformations using webMethods Transformations and XSLT/XSD.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across integration flows, connectors, and endpoints.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for webMethods using tools like Jenkins, Git, or Bitbucket.
Monitor and optimize API performance and provide post-deployment support.
Ensure solutions follow industry best practices for security, scalability, and maintainability.
