Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Update website content (banners, products, announcements, press releases, campaigns) in a timely manner.

Ensure website information is accurate, up to date, and compliant with regulatory standards.

Manage CMS workflows and content approvals in coordination with business teams.

Customize and maintain WordPress themes and plugins.

Develop new pages, templates, and features as required by business units.

Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.

Manage and optimize SQL databases used by WordPress for performance, backup, and recovery.

Write and optimize SQL queries for reporting and troubleshooting website data issues.

Monitor webserver performance (Apache, IIS, etc.), ensuring uptime, scalability, and security.

Ensure websites comply with bank security standards and regulatory requirements.

Perform regular updates, patches, and vulnerability scans.

Collaborate with IT Security to address website risks and incidents.

Monitor site performance, uptime, and responsiveness.

Optimize sites for speed, SEO, and accessibility.

Manage backups and ensure disaster recovery readiness.

Work with marketing, digital banking, and product teams to deliver campaigns and promotions.

Coordinate with IT infrastructure teams for hosting, SSL certificates, and server configurations.

Apply patches, manage SSL certificates, and configure load balancing for high-availability environments.

Provide technical support to internal stakeholders for website-related issues.

Stay updated on WordPress, PHP, and digital banking website trends.

Recommend improvements to enhance customer experience and digital engagement.

Explore automation opportunities for website updates and monitoring.

Own end-to-end website deployment cycles, ensuring secure and compliant releases.

Manage hosting environments, domains, and SSL certificates

Monitor servers for uptime, performance, and capacity planning.

Coordinate with infrastructure teams to ensure scalability, disaster recovery, and business continuity.

Implement automation tools for deployment and monitoring where applicable.

Configure, monitor, and maintain SMTP servers for secure and reliable email delivery

Desired Candidate Profile

Omani Nationals only

Minimum Diploma, Bachelor s degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in website development/administration.
