Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components.

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to produce accurate welds.

  • Set up and operate welding equipment, including power supplies, wire feeders, and gas regulators.

  • Inspect finished welds visually and using measuring tools to ensure compliance with specifications.

  • Perform pre-weld and post-weld treatments such as grinding, cleaning, and heat treatment as required.

  • Maintain welding equipment and report faults or maintenance needs to the supervisor.

  • Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.

  • Collaborate with fabrication and assembly teams to meet production targets and deadlines.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

  • Proficiency in at least two of the following processes: MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), or Stick (SMAW).

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding procedure specifications (WPS).

  • Demonstrated knowledge of metallurgy basics and welding joint configurations.

  • Solid understanding of occupational health and safety standards applicable to welding.

  • Previous experience in the ventilation fan industry or general manufacturing industry is highly regarded.

  • Familiarity with fabricating fan housings, impellers, ducting, or related ventilation components is a strong advantage.
