Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

To perform high-quality welding and fabrication work for oil & gas machinery, piping, and pressure equipment in a workshop or fabrication yard, following ASME, ISO, and safety standards.

  • Weld and assemble pipes, frames, skids, tanks, and pressure parts for oil & gas machinery.

  • Use TIG, ARC, and 6G welding methods in accordance with ISO 4063 and project requirements. Read and follow engineering drawings, WPS, and PQR.

  • Prepare, align, and clean joints before welding.

  • Ensure welds meet ASME / AWS quality standards and cooperate with QA/QC inspectors during visual and NDT inspections.

  • Maintain welding tools, machines, and workspace in safe condition. Follow all HSE and company safety procedures.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in oil & gas fabrication or machinery manufacturing.

  • Valid 6G / TIG / ARC welding certificate (ASME IX preferred).

  • Must hold valid welder qualification (WQT/WPQ) approved by a recognized third-party inspection agency (e.g., TÜV, Bureau Veritas, DNV, Lloyd’s, Velosi, Applus+).

  • Approval must cover welding work under: ASME BPVC Section – Pressure Vessels and Heating Boilers ASME B31.3 – Process Piping ASME B31.1 – Power Piping (Steam and Hot Water Systems)

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and WPS.

  • Basic English and teamwork skills.
