Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues in welding equipment, using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to identify the root cause of malfunctions.
- Perform preventative maintenance on welding machines, including routine inspections, cleaning, and part replacements to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Calibrate and adjust welding equipment to precise specifications, guaranteeing weld quality and adherence to industry standards.
- Repair and rebuild welding equipment components, such as power supplies, wire feeders, and control systems, demonstrating proficiency in electrical and mechanical repairs.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree in welding technology or a related field is preferred.
- Holds relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or Certified Welding Educator (CWE), demonstrating expertise.
- Has a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the welding industry, showcasing practical knowledge of welding processes and equipment.
- Exhibits a strong understanding of various welding techniques, including SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, and FCAW, coupled with practical experience.
