Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all welding activities on pipeline projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications, codes, and standards such as ASME B3 and API
  • Supervise a team of welders, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular inspections of welding procedures, equipment, and materials to maintain quality control and prevent defects, using NDT methods.
  • Develop and implement welding procedures (WPS) and ensure welders are qualified to those procedures (WPQ), and maintain comprehensive welding documentation.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for a degree or diploma in Welding Engineering Technology or a related field.
  • Holds relevant welding certifications, such as Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or equivalent, with experience in pipeline welding.
  • Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years of experience in pipeline welding and supervision, with a proven track record of successful project completion.
  • Has a strong understanding of industry codes and standards, including ASME, API, and relevant pipeline regulations.
