Weldmesh Operator

Client of MM Management Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and monitor weldmesh machines (automatic/manual).
• Adjust machine parameters such as wire spacing, mesh size, and welding current.
• Perform routine machine checks before startup and during shift.
• Ensure mesh production meets required specifications (dimensions, spacing, strength).
• Inspect and measure output using calipers, gauges, and measuring tools.
• Identify defects such as improper welds, alignment issues, or wire feeding problems.
• Record production data (output, downtime, scrap, defects).
• Conduct basic preventive maintenance such as lubrication, cleaning, and tightening.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical, electrical, or alignment issues.
• Report major breakdowns immediately to maintenance team.
• Load and feed wires/coils into the machine as per specifications.
• Maintain proper handling and storage of finished mesh bundles.
• Assist in bundling, cutting, stacking, and dispatch preparation.
• Follow all plant safety guidelines, PPE requirements, and lockout/tagout procedures.
