Key Responsibilities
- Oversee on-site construction activities for wet utilities including potable water, firefighting systems, stormwater drainage, sewage, and irrigation networks
- Ensure installation works comply with approved drawings, method statements, and technical specifications
- Coordinate with subcontractors and site teams to ensure proper sequencing and timely execution of works
- Arrange and witness inspections and testing such as pressure testing, leakage testing, flushing, chlorination, and CCTV inspections
- Ensure all materials, installation works, and testing activities meet project quality standards and regulatory requirements
- Support resolution of NCRs and implementation of corrective and preventive actions
- Coordinate with civil, pavement, MEP, and utility teams to manage interfaces and avoid clashes
- Liaise with authorities, consultants, and third-party inspectors to obtain approvals and clearances
- Support utility diversions, connections, and tie-ins within active airfield environments
- Prepare daily progress reports, inspection records, and test documentation
- Support preparation of as-built drawings and system handover documentation
- Respond to RFIs and assist with technical clarifications
- Ensure wet utilities works comply with approved HSE plans, risk assessments, and method statements
- Promote safe working practices, particularly in confined spaces and excavation activities
- Ensure compliance with airside safety procedures and permit-to-work systems

Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
Minimum 8 years of experience in wet utilities engineering or site supervision roles
Proven experience on airport, airfield, runway, or large-scale infrastructure projects
Strong knowledge of wet utilities systems including potable water, drainage, sewage, and firefighting networks
Familiarity with relevant standards and codes such as AWWA, ASTM, BS, and local authority requirements
Ability to read and interpret utility drawings, profiles, and technical details
Proficient in MS Office and technical reporting
Strong coordination and problem-solving skills
Experience working in airside or operational airport environments
Knowledge of utility authority requirements and approval processes
Familiarity with QA and QC documentation, inspection and test plans, and testing procedures
Experience with document control systems such as Aconex or similar platforms
Confined space or safety-related certifications are an advantage
