Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Task Description:

  • Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of winders to ensure high performance and professional development.
  • Allocate tasks, manage workloads, and ensure efficient work ow within the team.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, progress, and any updates.
  • Oversee and perform the winding of electric motors and alternators, including coil preparation, insertion, and testing.
  • Ensure all winding activities comply with company standards, speci cations, and safety regulations.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot winding-related issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure all completed jobs meet quality criteria.
  • Conduct regular inspections and tests to ensure winding integrity and performance.
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures and documentation.
  • Promote and enforce a strong safety culture within the team.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Conduct safety audits and address any identi ed hazards promptly.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and resolve any inter-departmental issues.


Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certi cation in electrical or mechanical engineering is preferred.
  • EASA certi cations in winding or electrical repair are a plus.
  • Proven experience in winding electric motors and alternators, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electric motor and alternator winding processes and standards.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
