Role & responsibilities

  • Operate the Strait line wire drawing machine to draw wire to required gauges.
  • Set up the machine with correct dies, lubricants, and material spools.
  • Monitor and adjust machine settings for optimal performance.
  • Inspect finished wire for surface defects, proper diameter, and consistency.
  • Maintain wire tension and ensure continuous operation with minimal downtime.
  • Perform routine maintenance, including die changes, lubrication, and cleaning.
  • Identify and troubleshoot mechanical or quality issues with the drawing process.
  • Record production data, including batch numbers, wire sizes, and lengths.
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
  • Communicate with team leaders and maintenance staff for repairs and improvements.

Desired Candidate Profile

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Wire Drawing Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in operating straight-line wire drawing machines, particularly within the steel industry. The operator will be responsible for setting up machines, monitoring production, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring the smooth operation of wire drawing processes
