Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Wirelab Technician, specializing in the maintenance and repair of electronic equipment for robotic pipeline coating systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in electronic repair, a strong understanding of circuitry, and a meticulous approach to their work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform repair and testing of electronic equipment and Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs).
  • Conduct board-level repairs, including soldering of Surface Mount Device (SMD) components.
  • Diagnose and resolve faults in electronic systems and equipment.
  • Execute wiring and cabling tasks with precision.
  • Use multimeters, soldering stations, and other tools effectively.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, tests, and maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to ensure timely completion of tasks.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Clear verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and PCB layouts.
  • Previous experience as an electronics technician is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and testing procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently or in a team.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in electronics repair, PCB testing, or similar roles preferred.
