Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare wood surfaces by sanding, cleaning, and applying primers to ensure a smooth finish.
- Select and mix paint colors, stains, or finishes according to job specifications and customer preferences.
- Apply paint or finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers, ensuring even coverage and attention to detail.
- Conduct touch-ups and repairs on previously painted surfaces to maintain quality and aesthetics.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; formal training in painting or finishing is a plus.
- Proven experience in wood painting or finishing, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
- Certification in safety practices related to paint application and handling hazardous materials is preferred.
- Experience working with different types of wood and finishes to demonstrate versatility and expertise.
