A Work Permit Receiver is responsible for receiving, reviewing, and complying with work permits issued for various tasks, especially those involving hazardous or controlled environments. This role ensures that all safety protocols and regulatory requirements are met before, during, and after work is carried out. The Work Permit Receiver acts as a critical link between the workforce and safety management to maintain a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive and review work permits issued for specific tasks or projects
Ensure understanding of permit conditions and safety requirements before commencing work
Verify that all necessary safety measures and equipment are in place
Communicate permit details and safety instructions to team members or workers
Monitor compliance with permit conditions throughout the work process
Report any deviations or safety issues to supervisors or safety officers immediately
Coordinate with safety, operations, and maintenance teams to ensure safe execution
Maintain records of permits received and work completed under each permit
Participate in safety meetings and training as required
Assist in incident investigations if related to permit non-compliance
