Workshop Controller - Automotive

We are looking for a Workshop Controller who will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling workshop operations to ensure jobs are completed efficiently, on time, and to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Plan, schedule, and allocate work to technicians
2. Monitor daily workshop activity to ensure jobs are completed within agreed timelines.
3. Control job flow from vehicle/equipment reception to completion and delivery.
4. Ensure technicians follow standards, safety procedures, and quality guidelines.
5. Monitor and improve technician productivity, efficiency, and utilization.
6. Review job cards, labor hours, and parts usage for accuracy and cost control.
7. Coordinate with Service Advisors to provide accurate job status updates and delivery times.
8. Identify delays or technical issues and take corrective action promptly.
9. Support diagnosis of complex technical issues when required.
10. Ensure workshop tools, equipment, and facilities are properly maintained.
