Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Oversee daily workshop operations to ensure peak efficiency and productivity, aligning team efforts with strategic goals.
Manage inventory levels of tools and materials, optimizing procurement processes to reduce waste and costs.
Manage day-to-day workshop operations and supervise technicians
Closely coordinate with Project team for fleet deployment
Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules
Ensure timely repair of vehicles and minimize downtime
Monitor maintenance costs, parts usage
Maintain inventory of spare parts and control stock levels
Ensure compliance with safety standards and local regulations
Coordinate with spare part buyers for timely procurement of spare parts.
Maintain accurate record on mandatory renewals ( registration, TPI certificates, CICPA etc…)
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, providing a solid technical foundation for effective management.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in workshop or production management, showcasing a proven track record of leadership.
Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma, demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience in the relevant industry, such as automotive or manufacturing, ensuring a deep understanding of specific processes.
