Workshop Supervisor ALLIED TRANSPORT LLC

Purpose To supervise work of the technicians in the workshop to ensure timely completion of jobs

Key Responsibility Areas

· Responsible and accountable for supervising the workshop staff daily

· Responsible and accountable for opening job cards for the vehicle, making note of the jobs to be done and repairs to be carried out in the vehicle.

· Responsible and accountable for allocating jobs, monitoring the performance of the jobs in terms of quality, speed, cleanliness of vehicles, floor etc.

· Responsible and accountable for supervising the usage of spare parts and coordinating with procurement/stores for the ordering of vehicle parts

· Responsible and accountable for looking after the maintenance and upkeep of workshop, vehicles, equipment and machinery on a regular basis

· Responsible and accountable for ensuring the vehicle is thoroughly inspected for Quality check before delivery to the customer.

· Responsible and accountable for timely delivery of vehicles to operations

· Responsible and accountable for making sure there is no wastage of resources and spare parts

· Responsible and accountable for taking the attendance of the staff, checking for punctuality and

· ensuring overtime is allowed for the workers only as per business requirements

· Responsible and accountable for training and guiding the technicians on technical problems

· Responsible and accountable for looking after the welfare of the staff, motivating the staff for better output

· Responsible for achieving Budgeted targets on a daily, weekly and monthly as well as yearly basis.

· Responsible and accountable for ensuring workshop adheres to all company rules and regulations

Key Performance Indicators

· Number of repairs done per day

· Number of spare parts used per day

· Number of delays in repairing

· Number of delays in diagnosing the problem

· Actual vs. target

Competencies

· Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.

· Strong communication skills and customer service skills

· Ability to be patient and answer enquiries and complaints

· Ability to multi-task

Education Graduate Engineer /Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical

Experience 7 -10 years of relevant experience
