Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Follows the day-to-day operations related to assigned duties to ensure continuity of work.

2. Paint and primer application and surface preparation to aircraft components and support equipment in accordance with all applicable technical manuals and safety procedures.

3. Paint removal on aircraft components and support equipment in accordance with all applicable technical manuals and safety procedures.

4. Paints insignia, letters or numerals on aircraft surface using stencils in accordance with all applicable technical manuals and safety procedures.

5. Applies alodine procedures and other corrosion prevention control (CPC) treatments to aircraft metals.

6. Maintains facilities for storage of flammable and hazardous materials.

7. Requisitions aircraft paint in accordance with all applicable manuals and Federal Standard 595B, and maintains shop and bench stock for the painting of aircraft structures.

8. Inspects and prepares forms and records related to maintenance in accordance with DA PAM PHONE_NUMBER.

9. Train host national personnel on the proper painting techniques for aircraft structures.

10. Responsible for tools and equipment inventory assigned by the supervisor.

11. Provides on-the-job training and coaching to technicians on basic tasks and procedures to support their development.

12. Ensures compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management procedures and controls to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude

13. Performs other related duties or assignments as directed.
