Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Workshop Equipment Technician plays a vital role in maintaining the operational efficiency of the facility. You will primarily handle the installation, diagnostic testing, and repair of various industrial and workshop machinery. Furthermore, the role requires you to perform routine preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure all equipment meets safety standards. Technicians must also troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical issues effectively. Consequently, this position demands a proactive individual who can work independently while following strict technical specifications.
Desired Candidate Profile
To qualify for this role, candidates must possess a solid background in mechanical or electrical engineering. Specifically, we require:
- A minimum of 2 3 years of verifiable experience in workshop equipment maintenance or a related technical field.
- Relevant vocational training or a diploma from a recognized technical institute.
- Proficiency in diagnosing faults in hydraulic, pneumatic, or electronic systems.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team supervisors and report technical issues.
- The ability to interpret technical manuals and circuit diagrams accurately.
