Responsibilities:

People

• Adopting the Motive Offshore Group People Values and ensuring their use is embedded throughout day-to-day tasks and decision making.
• Develop strong working relations with key stake-holders clients, colleagues etc.

Planet

• Adhere to and promote Motive's sustainability initiatives, contributing to Net Zero objectives
• To be a positive ambassador for Motive Offshore Group Ltd.

Product

• To participate in internal and external training courses where identified.
• Perform operations with machine tools, inclusive of, grinders, drills, magnetic drills and other equipment
• Safe operations of machinery, hand tools, lifting equipment and ensure job materials and equipment are correctly used.
• Perform diagnostics to identify faults and determine the best solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and service logs.
• Carry out hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical repairs.
• Strong mechanical or electrical aptitude
• Learn how to assist in more complex repairs by shadowing senior members of staff.
• Assist the team with mobilisation of equipment for Rental projects.
• Assist with testing of equipment during both inhouse Factory acceptance testing, and client witnessed.
• Maintain housekeeping in workshop and yard. Ensure all work areas are clean and tidy.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Attend client sites to learn from more experienced service technicians.
• Develop strong working relations with key stake-holders clients, colleagues etc.
• To be a positive ambassador for Motive Offshore Group Ltd.

Required skills / knowledge:

• Proven experience in a workshop or similar technical environment.
• Interest in gaining technical knowledge.
• Some Experience operating machinery.
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise.
