Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
To ensure effective control of all operational aspects of the Auto Units Distribution Division of the Riyadh, KSA Branch. The role focuses on the efficient and safe handling, storage, and movement of materials and equipment within the yard. It requires maintaining high levels of organization, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and coordinating with operational teams to support a smooth workflow and timely deliveries to dealer locations throughout KSA, ultimately achieving complete customer satisfaction and meeting business targets.
What you will do:
- Ensure strict, accurate, and timely management reporting to provide visibility on daily yard activities, operational performance, and trends.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement improvement initiatives.
- Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures for all areas of the division.
- Coordinate with customers, internal departments, and external vendors to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of concerns while maintaining high service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Provide daily updates to the immediate manager and teams on stock positions, delivery trends, and ongoing customer requirements. Manage and control stock holdings of units without incidents or accidents.
- Ensure timely fulfillment of customer requirements throughout KSA and maintain accurate records of vehicles, spare parts, and AFL assets.
- Ensure all vehicle movements within the premises strictly adhere to safety and quality standards, including damage prevention and cleanliness.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments within the yard.
- Perform routine inspections of equipment in warehouses and yards to verify serviceability.
- Coordinate with customer departments and workshops to ensure maintenance of MHEs, tower lights, generators, and other equipment is completed as required.
- Lead, train, and motivate yard staff, drivers, and technicians. Conduct staff performance appraisals and development reviews in accordance with company policies.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Yard management expertise and knowledge of major components of material-handling equipment.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and the ability to enforce compliance across yard operations.
- Proficiency in using yard management systems, inventory software, and basic reporting tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick, informed decisions in a fast-paced operational environment.
What qualifies you for the role:
